7:05 a.m. Caller advised his truck had been broken into. Advised he hadn't touched it to see what was missing. Sheriff en route.

1:08 p.m. Controlled burn at the refuge. Advised of a hot spot north side of the lane. Unspent fuel was burning in the interior. Trucks can't get to it.

2 p.m. Woods County requested Aline and Carmen for mutual aid.

3:20 p.m. Civil papers served.

7:08 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 64 and County Road 670.

7:40 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Second Street and Kansas.

7:48 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop east of County Road 680 on State Highway 11.

8:08 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Grant Road and Cemetery.

8:46 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on State Highway 11.

8:53 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Jiffy Trip.

9:18 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at junction of highways 48 and 8.

9:42 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at State Highway 45 and County Road 640.

9:56 p.m. Caller reported seeing people running from a barn in Ingersoll and she wanted to talk to a deputy about a possible burglary. Advise deputy and he texted the caller. Deputy advised a report was taken.

12:34 a.m. Officer had a traffic stop on 12th Street and Grand.

6:55 a.m. Caller advised their dog was missing.

10:02 a.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on State Highway 11 and County Road 560.

1:38 p.m. Woods County advised of a grass fire started by some guy working on electrical poles at County Road 750. Paged Amorita and Byron Fire Department and Nescatunga Fire Department.

4:04 p.m. Report of cattle out.

5:57 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop.

7:03 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on State Highway 58 and Cotton Road.

7:32 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop.

7:47 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at co-op parking lot.

7:52 p.m. Caller stated there was someone going up and down the alley behind Kay Avenue and Face Stuffers. Advised officer. Officer made contact with the individual and advised not to be riding the four-wheeler on the streets of the City of Cherokee.

7:53 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on Caddo and State Highway 58.

8:14 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on State Highway 58 and County Road 660.

8:27 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at State Highway 8.

8:38 p.m. Caller from Grant County needing help for someone bleeding. The caller was crying and difficult to understand. Was able to get location. Called Woods County with the information.

10:01 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on State Highway 8.

11:11 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop on State Highway 11 and County Road 660.

11:35 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop U.S. Highway 64 and County Road 570.

9:19 a.m. Deputy advised of a bull wagon westbound on State Highway 54, headed toward Jet, that was all over the road. Deputy made contact with the vehicle.

10:41 a.m. Caller advised he thought his wife may have had a stroke. Medic en route. Medic with patient en route to Bass Hospital in Enid.

1:28 p.m. Cattle missing.

5:02 p.m. Cattle out at junction of highways 45 and 8.

6:04 p.m. Cattle out on State Highway 58 and Osage Road.

6:30 p.m. Caller reported a person burning stuff, maybe trash, at the end of Persimmon Lane. Advised Nescatunga Fire Department. They advised the person was putting out the fire.

9 p.m. Cherokee Manor needed a medic for a male that fell and hit his head. Medic en route to Kiowa Hospital.

9:54 p.m. Officer requested a medic for a male with a gunshot wound to the upper arm. Medic en route. Deputy advised sheriff. They advised the vehicle will be a black Pontiac with Kansas plates. Advised OSBI. Medic with patient en route to Bass Hospital in Enid. Victim gave permission to search his car. His vehicle was secure.

10:38 p.m. Report of loud music in the 300 block of Main.

12:24 a.m. Medic needed at the Cherokee Manor. Medic with patient en route to Kiowa Hospital.

9:57 a.m. Caller advised she had several calls from a man named John. John said he was investigating fraudulent sweepstakes. Caller stated he hangs up when she asks him where he was calling from.

10:22 a.m. Cattle out north of Cherokee.

11:30 a.m. Caller advised of a minor accident. A lady had hit his company vehicle. Caller would like an officer for a report. Officer en route.

11:39 p.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at junction of highways 8 and 64.

11:45 p.m. Officer advised he was going to observe a female that was possibly intoxicated and causing problems at The Watering Hole.

Saturday, March 10, 2018

12:16 a.m. Deputy had a traffic stop at State Highway 45 and County Road 650.

6:28 a.m. Black cow on State Highway 45 and County Road 680.

8:33 a.m. Caller advised of an aggressive pit bull that keeps getting out. Caller advised they did not want animal control or deputy. Caller advised they cannot get out to feed livestock unless the caller waves a gun at the dog. Then the dog will run back home.

2:30 p.m. Caller advised of stolen tag off his motor home and wanted to report it. Advised deputy.

5:04 p.m. Bonfire at County Road 730 and Highway 38. Sent Nescatunga and Jet fire departments. Advised parties about the burn ban. They put the fire out.

6:07 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at 12th Street and Grand.

8:48 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Ohio.

9:10 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Grand.

9:18 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop on Grand.

10:16 p.m. Medic needed for a male vomiting blood and had bloody stool. Medic en route. Medic with patient en route to Bass Hospital in Enid.

10:34 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop at Third Street and Oklahoma.

1:45 a.m. Caller thought she heard what sounded like gunshots to the west of her house. Notified sheriff.

9:20 a.m. Caller advised of banging noises from his neighbors and looked like someone was throwing furniture out the front door. Officer advised he made a positive contact with the homeowner. Advised she was cleaning off the front porch.

5:04 p.m. Caller advised of four pit bulls running around in Amorita in an aggressive manner. Made two attempts to get ahold of the dog owners.

6:31 p.m. Caller advised a vehicle inside of a machine shop was on fire and the structure was about to catch fire as well. Advised Goltry and Helena Fire Department.

6:51 p.m. Caller wanted to report vandalism to rental property in Aline. His back fence was down. Advised he was getting ready to go inside of the property and was asking for a deputy. Advised him to wait for the deputy.

7:10 p.m. Alarm company advised an alarm going off in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania. Everything was okay.

9:11 p.m. Two dogs loose on Highway 8 and Comanche Road.

10:23 p.m. Officer had a traffic stop north of Cherokee.

6:54 a.m. Medic needed for a male that had COPD and couldn't breathe. Medic en route. Medic with patient en route to Bass Hospital in Enid.

8:52 a.m. Caller advised of a calf out on State Highway 11.
