DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball freshman first baseman Elexis Watson has been named the Great American Conference Freshman of the Week following her performance in a series victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State over the past weekend.

Watson, a native of Muskogee, Okla., helped the Savage Storm pick up three wins against SWOSU by hitting .583 in the four-game series. She recorded three multi-hit games and scored multiple runs in all three victories.

She hit a pair of home runs, doubled three times and drove in eight runs. She walked four times to produce a .688 on-base percentage....
