An Alva man is accused of discharging a gun inside a residence. Jon Berry Linder, 55, of Alva was charged March 9 with felony discharging firearm into dwelling. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for not less than two years nor more than 20 years.

According to court documents, on March 8 about 5:44 p.m. Alva Police Officer William Shahan responded to the area of Ridgway and Oklahoma Blvd. for a report of multiple shots fired. The reporting party said he heard four gunshots back to back that sounded muffled and gave the location of a residence he thought they came from.
