Everyone always talks about how the people in small towns come together and do great things. Well, the fundraiser to help 30-year-old Josh Myers who has battled cancer was a perfect example of that.
A Mexican fiesta, live and silent auction at the Plum Thickett in Kiowa, Kansas, on March 11 surpassed expectations. Thanks to the generosity of so many, the event raised about $15,000 for Myers.
