Holder not happy with House bill that would strip DOC board of its power

Todd Holder, secretary of the Oklahoma Board of Corrections, attended the BJCC Advisory Board meeting Tuesday noon, although he needed to leave to attend the Senate hearings at the State Capitol on the new state budget.

"For those of you who read the paper, you may realize we have requested two new facilities to be built and our budget is over a billion dollar request. The likelihood of that being granted is slim to none, but we have to request," he said.
