North Carolina students, allies march for gun control laws

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — High school students and allies seeking stronger gun control laws in North Carolina following last month's Florida school shootings walked through downtown Raleigh in solidarity with a similar weekend rally in Washington.

Other "March for Our Lives" events took place in a dozen other cities across North Carolina on Saturday.

At the Raleigh rally, teenagers, a high school teacher and two Democratic state legislators spoke out to find solutions for gun violence.
