Spring break made for a fairly quiet week as far as legislation is concerned at the Capitol. Senate bills were assigned to House committees, and most meetings will begin next week. However, I did get to enjoy visitors from my district as some chose to visit on their spring break.
The House Public Safety Committee, upon which I serve, held its first meeting to hear Senate bills on March 21. We heard Senate Bills 898, 905 and 908, all of which passed and are now eligible to be heard on the House floor.
