Baseball Bisons Drop Tight 2-1 Game to Southeastern in Series Opener

 


SEARCY – Southeastern Oklahoma scored two runs in the sixth inning to erase a one-run deficit and defeated Harding 2-1 Friday in the first of three Great American Conference games at Jerry Moore Field.

Both teams now have 15-17 overall records. Harding is 7-12 in conference, and Southeastern is 10-9.

Two of Harding's four hits came in the fourth inning. Luke Van Doverled off the inning with a single. He stole second with two outs and scored on Connor Kelly's RBI single to left, Kelly's 26th RBI of the season.
