At Kiowa’s Pioneer Days there’s always some orneriness and fun. This year will be no exception with many traditional events and some new twists planned for April 20-22.
Friday night the Methodist Men are grilling free burgers in the park. On Saturday, a highlight is always the 11 a.m. parade and skit that follows. Of course, the steer wrestlin’ and team ropin’ at John Miller’s arena Saturday and Sunday afternoons is what the entire weekend is designed around.
