Kiowa Mayor Ron Rohr opened a special meeting of the Kiowa City Council Monday morning with the Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. All members attended, including: R.L. Simpson, Bill Watson, Tom Wells, Brian Hill and Russell Molz. Also seated at the table were City Administrator Lou Leone, City Attorney Laurel McClellan and City Clerk Trish Brewer. Numerous members of the public also attended.
Leone told the council he is working on leads for two possible new businesses in Kiowa: an ammo center and a telemarketing center.
