Easter sunrise service held

A community Easter sunrise service was held on the bluffs south of Freedom on Easter Morning at 7 a.m. Pastor Mark Kinkel presided over the service.
Breakfast was then served at the Christian Church. A wonderful breakfast of biscuits, sausage gravy, breakfast casseroles, fruit bowl and cinnamon rolls was provided by the ladies of the two churches. Fellowship was enjoyed during the breakfast.
Regular Sunday services were then held by the Christian Church and Freedom Methodist Church as members celebrated the risen Savior, Jesus.
