Henderson Falls 5-4 in Heartbreaker to Harding

SEARCY, Ark. — Henderson State took two of three in doubles and was a win away from taking the match on Wednesday at Harding, but it was the Lady Bisons who claimed the final three singles contests of the day to win the match 5-4.
The Reddies' No. 1 and No. 3 doubles teams both claimed victories early to give Henderson the lead. Lorraine Banimataku and Lorish Puluspene won at No. 3 by a score of 8-5, and Annie Shannon and Sydnee Parker won a 9-7 slugfest at No. 1 to put HSU in front 2-1.
