Hooten Picks Up 200th Victory as Henderson State Beats Union 6-3

 


Henderson State head baseball Cody Hooten picked up his 200th win as the Reddies beat Union University 6-3, Wednesday in Jackson, Tenn.

Hooten, who is in his eighth season as skipper of the Reddies, needs just six more victories to become the winningest coach at Henderson State which would surpass legendary coach Clyde Berry who has 205 wins.

Caleb Carr got things going for the Reddies in the first-inning as he led off the game with an infield single. Joe Myers followed with a double to right field, advancing Carr to third.
