Vice President Mark Pollock called the April meeting of the South Barber School Board to order in the absence of president of the board Steve Allen. Deb Helfrich was also absent. All other members attended including: Mike Miller, Melissa Simpson, Bryan Quick and Mariah Doherty.

Superintendent Dr. Andi Williams also sat at the board table as did Board Clerk Julie Johnson.

The board approved numerous personnel changes:

• Vocal teacher Naicee Gugelmeyer is the new high school cheerleading sponsor. She replaces Melissa Rector and Shawna Schupbach, who resigned the position.
