Davis named as GAC men's field athlete of week

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 11, 2018) – Oklahoma Christian jumper Austin Davis was named Wednesday as the Great American Conference's men's field athlete of the week.
Davis, a junior from Midwest City, recorded his first collegiate individual win on Sunday, taking top honors in the triple jump in the Friends Invitational in Wichita, Kan. Battling chilly conditions, Davis prevailed with a mark of 44 feet, 1¼ inches (13.44 meters), prevailing in a field of nine jumpers.
