GAC names Grace as women's field athlete of the week

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 11, 2018) – The Great American Conference named Oklahoma Christian thrower Destiny Grace as its women's field athlete of the week on Wednesday.
Grace, a sophomore from Rockwall, Texas, excelled in two events on Sunday despite chilly conditions at the Friends Invitational in Wichita, Kan.
She placed second in the shot put with a throw of 40 feet, 3 1/4 inches (12.27 meters), finishing behind only an NCAA Division I thrower from Wichita State. Grace is the reigning GAC champion in that event.
