Ranger softball falls in first contest, Game 2 suspended due to darkness

BETHANY, Okla. – It was a crazy day in Bethany Saturday as Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southern Nazarene battled it out in the first game where the Crimson Storm came out on the winning side, 1-0 in a long 14-inning game while the second was suspended due to darkness in the top of the sixth.

Game 1

The first game of the series was a tough one for the Lady Rangers and pitcher Madison Garza as she would throw upwards of 190 pitches in the complete game.

The senior from Edna, Texas, gave up just one run on nine hits and recorded an astonishing 16 strikeouts.
