An Alva man has been charged with domestic assault and battery after a woman sought emergency room treatment.

According to court records, on April 9 Woods County Undersheriff Keith Dale was asked by an Alva police officer to come to Share Medical Center to take the report on the incident which occurred in a rural part of the county.
