Bugs outlast Lawton Ike; fall to Irish

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Alva High School baseball team locked up with 5A Lawton Eisenhower in a 13-12 run fest on Friday in Midwest City at the 2018 Bill Tipton Classic.

The victory set up a matchup at Bishop McGuiness on Saturday. After an early 2-0 lead against the Irish, McGuinness pulled away for a 10-5 win.

With two outs in the top of the first against the Irish, and Zeth Warren and T.W. Beiswanger standing on base following singles, Max Parsons sent a pitch to center field for a hit and to plate both runners for the lead.
