Alfalfa County commissioners extend burn ban two weeks

The Alfalfa County Board of Commissioners met Monday morning in the regular meeting. The topic of the burn ban and the risk to firefighters, civilians and property was a great concern for the commissioners. All commissioners were present, as well as Nancy Lambert, Laneta Unruh and Shana Smallwood-Buchanan. After the call to order, Lambert gave the invocation, then the flag was saluted.
The commissioners approved the minutes from the previous meeting, the M & O warrants for payment and the blanket purchase orders.
