Kiowa Mayor designates April 27 as Arbor Day, Tree City USA 22nd consecutive year

Kiowa’s Tree Board applied for and received the 2017 National “Tree City USA” award. Board member Carra Mayberry said this is the 22nd consecutive year for the City of Kiowa to receive this honor.
Mayor Ron Rohr signed a proclamation declaring April 27 as Kiowa’s Arbor Day. FFA student volunteers help plant trees around town that day.
