Reddies Drop Series Finale to Rangers 2-1

Henderson State managed just four hits on Saturday as the Reddies fell 2-1 to Northwestern Oklahoma in the series finale at Clyde Berry Field.

The Reddies, 27-16 overall and 20-10 in the Great American Conference, scored its lone run in the first-inning as Caleb Carr led off the game with a single. Joe Myers advanced Carr to second when he reached base on a walk.

Zack Gray then lined a single up the middle to force home Carr. The Reddies would proceed to put runners on second and third with one out, but Ranger starting pitcher Baron Phillips was able to strike out the next two batters to ge...
