WACO, Texas – Rogers State baseball's Brendan Griffith was named the Heartland Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week as announced by the Heartland Conference on Tuesday (April 24).

Griffith, a junior from Santa Clarita, Calif., hit a team-high .462 on 6-of-13 from the plate in a four-game series against Lubbock Christian during the week. Griffith reached base at a .588 clip drawing four walks to go along with a double and five base hits.
