OBU's Demaree Named GAC Player of the Week

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist right fielder Cheyenne Demaree earned Great American Conference Player of the Week honors, the league announced Tuesday.
Demaree, a sophomore from Pryor, batted .750 with three home runs and two doubles for a 1.667 slugging percentage in four games for the Lady Bison. She has four RBIs and five runs and also had one walk for a .769 on-base percentage.
The award is the first for the Lady Bison this season, though Dani Manning earned Freshman of the Week three weeks ago.
Demaree also won the award last year on April 10.
