HAYS, Kan. – Southeastern faced challenges from inclement weather conditions as much as from opponents, but despite the adverse conditions Southeastern's women were able to secure their third-straight team championship at the Ft. Hays State Rodeo in Hays, Kan.

The win allowed the women to extend their lead in the Central Plains Region standings with one rodeo remaining in the regular season.

The first round of competition brought much success for the women's timed events.
