Goldbugs close regular season on top

SHATTUCK, Okla. – The No. 17 Alva High School baseball squad closed the regular season on a high note as the Goldbugs scored eight unanswered runs in the final three innings to beat Class B No. 10 Shattuck, 10-5, on Monday.
Alva finished 2018 regular season campaign with a 20-12 record. The Bugs are playing some of their best baseball of the season as they have been winners in seven of their last nine contests, their best nine-game stretch of the season.
