On Saturday, May 12, letter carriers in Alva will “Stamp Out Hunger” by collecting canned food donations from households on their route. In Alva, donations benefit Alva Wesleyan Church in collaboration with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

To help “Stamp Out Hunger,” residents can fill the plastic donation bag they receive in their mailbox the week of May 7, or any plastic bag, with canned food donations and place it by their mailbox on Saturday, May 12, before their letter carrier arrives – their letter carrier will do the rest.
