'Jungle Book' at Waynoka School

A few of the Jungle Book cast include (front) Catie Devine, Tatum Rose, Bailey White, Cheyenne Kephart, Precious Ramos, Katie Devin, Chris Green, Robert Perot and (back) Brooke Ferguson, Mattie Pitts, Tabor Budy, Austin Rankin, Kaitlyn Rich, Talyn Hagelberg, Garrison George and Tyler Newton.
Waynoka School will present "The Jungle Book" on May 12 at 7 p.m. in the school's multi-purpose building.
The play, written by Vera Morris and produced with permission of Pioneer Drama, tells of an extraordinary adventure with Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves in the jungle. With the help of a bear, panther and a python, Mowgli learns to survive and learn the jungle laws. But the jungle is also the home of Shere Khan, the dangerous man-eating tiger, who has vowed to destroy Mowgli.
