Talent Show slated

The annual Freedom Public School's Talent Show is scheduled for Friday, May 11, with two shows. The first show is at 1:30 p.m. and is considered the dress rehearsal; the second show is at 7 p.m.

The speech/drama department and the music department are working together to produce a blockbuster family program. Kindergarten through 12th-grade students will be performing solos, duets, skits and more. Drama students will act as the emcees and include Nicole Hughes, Katlynn Galemore and Madison Rhodes.

To raise money for this event and other expenses, a silent dessert auction will be held. Items are being made or donated by the school's administration, teachers and staff. Bids will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end after the program. Tea, coffee and cookies will be served after the night program.

If you have any questions please contact Freedom Schools at 580-621-3271.
