RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas baseball team totaled seven All-Great American Conference selections for the 2018 season as well as a pair of Distinguished Scholar-Athletes as the league released its annual All-GAC Baseball teams and superlative award winners on Saturday morning.

Among those all-conference honors, SAU had four players make the first-team with two of those selections taking home top individual honors with Jacob Richardson being named Player of the Year and Hunter Vasquez being tabbed as the league's Pitcher of the Year.

Richardson's selection as GAC Player of the Year is the second-consecutive for the Mulerider Baseball program and the third overall as members of the league. Additionally, Vasquez's GAC Pitcher of the Year honor is the second overall for the program and the first since the league's inaugural year in 2012.
