FFA honors seniors, community members

Cole Contreraz is honored and receives Freedom FFA Honorary Chapter Degree. He has helped the chapter by donating his time as a mentor to many student FFA members for the past two years.

The Freedom FFA Chapter held their 92nd annual awards banquet last week. Every year a business and a community member are chosen for the Honorary FFA Degree. This year Cargill Salt and Cole Contreras were chosen as Freedom FFA Honorary Chapter Degree Recipients.

Cargill Salt has supported the Freedom FFA Chapter for the past several years. It's estimated that Cargill has donated more than $20,000 towards Freedom agriculture programs.

Cole Contreraz helped Freedom's FFA chapter over the past two years. Cole never fails to help out at stock shows by making sure animals are ready to be shown. He...
