Rotary/Alva High School Students of the Month for May are Hannah O'Neil (left) and Jacob Faulkner (right). John Ryerson (center) is the Rotarian presenting the award.
Jacob Faulkner
Jacob is the son of Jay and Denise Faulker.
High school activities include football, baseball, basketball, FFA, FCA and Key Club. Activities outside of school include being a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and Baptist Youth Group. Jacob works for DT Spraying. His goal is to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University majoring in business. The best advice he could give to a freshman is, "Have fun while it lasts." His personal philosophy is, "Work hard every day because you'll never get that day back."
