The May NWOGS guest speaker was Lakin Ragains-Kastl. Lakin is the author and publisher of “Relentless.” “Relentless” is a book about the 1947 Woodward tornado.

Lakin Ragains-Kastl grew up in Burlington and now lives in Yukon. Her love of history began when she was in high school. She had the privilege of representing Oklahoma at the National History Day in Washington, D.C., at the age of 13. She earned her B.A. in political science from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
