Bison End Successful Season in Regional

 


MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist's first venture into the NCAA postseason ended Friday in the Central Region Tournament with a 4-1 loss to No. 25 Central Oklahoma.

OBU struck first in the bottom of the second when Jake Gozzo doubled and eventually scored on a wild pitch. The inning ended with Matt Poulin, who had been hit by a pitch, was gunned down at the plate after a base hit by Garrett McKee.

The Bronchos scored two runs on an error in the fifth inning and added another two runs – one earned – in the sixth.

Mychal Yarbor (5-5) allowed two earned runs over five innings and struck out seven...
