Woman went to grocery store but ended up in Tennessee

 


A woman borrowed a vehicle to go to the grocery store and ended up in Tennessee, according to the vehicle owner.

Juan Montalvo of Cherokee went to the police station on Tuesday, May 15, to tell Cherokee Police Chief Ryan O’Neil his vehicle had been stolen. Montalvo said on May 12 Rhonda Bennett asked if she could use a vehicle to go to United Supermarket in Cherokee. He let her use his red 2008 Toyota RAV4 with the belief that she return it after the grocery shopping.
