Four AHS basketball players take part in Classic Bowl XXX festivities

WOODWARD, Okla. – Four Alva High School basketball players participated in the annual 101 Classic Bowl basketball games this week at Woodward High School.

Julie Owen and Tatum Rouse-Murphy represented the Ladybugs on Tuesday evening, while Lane Scarbrough and Ethan Flynt were participants in the boys games on Thursday.

The two sets of players were placed opposite of each other in their respective games.

Rouse-Murphy's white team was victorious over Owen's red squad by a narrow 57-55 outcome. Owen finished the game with six points in the loss.
