Burlington School Board hires kindergarten teacher and basketball coach/teacher

Burlington School Board President Terry Graham called a special meeting of the board together on May 30. Members present were: Allison Armbruster, Robert Hill and T.J. Rockenbach. Aaron Smith was absent.
Others present included: Superintendent Dr. Stacey Croft; Principal Lane Pruett and Tamre McGinnis, minutes clerk.
After an approximately 50-minute executive session, at the recommendation of the superintendent, the board approved hiring Teresa Sims as the kindergarten teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. Sims has reportedly been teaching at Aline-Cleo.
