Woman charged with DUI, child endangerment

 


An Enid woman visiting the Great Salt Plains State Park has been charged with two felonies in Alfalfa County.

According to court documents, on Saturday, May 26, at 10:25 p.m. Park Ranger Ryan Webster stopped a vehicle after seeing it run a stop sign and cross the centerline of Highway 38 three times. The driver of the vehicle was Crystal Ashley Deroin with her daughter, age 11, as a front seat passenger. Webster noted he immediately smelled the odor of alcoholic beverages when talking to the driver.

Webster recognized Deroin from a 911 call an hour earlier when he responded to the Sandy Beach...
