Waynoka man charged after landlord spots evidence

 


The owner of a rental property in Waynoka told police about something he spotted while making a repair at the home. This resulted in a search warrant being obtained.

According to court records, on May 31 about 4:10 p.m. Waynoka Officer Adam Barlow and Police Chief Bill Barnum were at the police department when James Jones arrived to make a report. Jones said he owned property in the 1600 block of Second Street that he was renting to Colby Ross. Jones said Ross had not showed up to sign a rental contract by he was still staying at the house.
