Oklahoma residents, city against $4.5B wind power line route

BIXBY, Okla. (AP) — Officials in a city outside Tulsa are discussing telling a public utilities commission to reject a proposed $4.5 billion wind power line after residents raised resistance against the project.

The Tulsa World reports that Bixby City Council is meeting Monday to explore options in approaching the Oklahoma Corporation Commission about dismissing Public Service Company of Oklahoma's application for pre-approval of the Wind Catcher Connection power line.
