"The Rookie" and "The Natural" are two great baseball movies that have their plots based on actual events. Last weekend, Jose Trevino may have created content for an inspiring Hollywood writer.
Prior to its game on June 15 between the Texas Rangers and the Colorado Rockies, Trevino was called up from Double A Frisco to join the Rangers big league club in Arlington. He was called upon due to a one-game suspension to Robinson Chirinos following a mid-week scuffle with Matt Kemp of the Dodgers.
