Hardtner to celebrate 60th annual Fourth of July next Wednesday

Parade starts at 10 a.m. with theme "Stand By Me," $1,000 prize money, medallion hunt

It's time for fireworks to explode in Hardtner, Kansas, for the 60th Annual Fourth of July celebration next Wednesday. The town may be tiny but American patriotism bursts red, white and blue there as huge as the American flag displayed on the red brick buildings along Main Street.

If you've never experienced the tradition of Hardtner on the fourth, you're missing out on the heart of America.
