Alva's Gaddy, Timberlake's Bryant make Youth Leadership Oklahoma trip around state

Gaddy and Bryant part of the 52 selected from 400 applicants

 

A meal at Eskimo Joe's in Stillwater is but one stop on the Youth Leadership Oklahoma 748-mile, six-day tour of the state. Dru Bryant (left), Timberlake senior, and Landry Gaddy (middle), Alva senior, were selected as members of this group. They stand with a friend, Mattlin Stanek, also on the tour.

Dru Bryant is a Timberlake Tiger. Landry Gaddy is an Alva Goldbug. Both are outstanding high school seniors who were selected to be part of the select group Youth Leadership Oklahoma (YLOK) who had 400 applicants and only 53 chosen in 2018.

Created in 2001, YLOK's mission is to develop in the state's young leaders a hope, pride and responsibility for Oklahoma's future.
