The board of directors of Alva State Bank & Trust Company would like to announce the upcoming retirement of its president, Ken Schultz, effective Aug. 3. Schultz came to Alva State Bank in 2008 following the retirement of long-time president Lee Brandt. Schultz has been in banking for over 40 years and plans on remaining in Alva with his wife Jan. He hopes to travel more and have more time to do what he really loves, working on and restoring classic cars. Schultz is an avid member of R.A.C.E in Alva and has helped to build the Big Cruise and Car Show into the largest free car show in Oklahoma....
