Five charged after Father's Day argument

 


A gathering in Waynoka to enjoy a meal and some drinks to celebrate Father’s Day was disrupted by a verbal argument. The disagreement escalated, and one man was taken to the hospital. Now five people are facing charges in Woods County District Court.

Felony charges were filed July 10 against two men, and the three misdemeanor charges were filed on July 6.

Billy Michael Hood, 44, of Waynoka, has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, a felony. Steven Blair Steffen, 34, of Waynoka, has also been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, a felony. This crime is punishable by impri...
