Football coach, teacher hiring on special meeting agenda

The Alva Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting for Monday, July 16, at 11 a.m. in the board room at 418 Flynn St. The board will address several contracts and personnel items.
Board members will discuss and vote on a cooperative agreement with the Blackwell Public Schools to create a Title III, Part A consortium. This will allow the two schools to share certain resources.
A contract with Jan Eden for homebound physical therapy for the next school year will be considered. The board will also discuss and vote on a contract with Jana Hickman, occupational therapist.
