Intern from the east coast meets friendly Oklahomans

The Salt Plains National Wildlife refuge is home to a wide variety of local flora and fauna as well being an important stop-over for migratory birds. This summer, it is also the temporary stomping grounds for a delightful young lady from Raleigh, North Carolina. Charmaine Pedrozo was born in the Philippines but spent most of her formative years in Jacksonville, Florida.
