Sue Allen, incoming regent for Oklahoma State Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) stated her theme for the next two years as reaping blessings through DAR. Her project is Oklahoma veterans, and she stated that there are seven nursing homes for veterans in the state of Oklahoma with the ones at Clinton and Claremore being the most recent. The other five are more than 100 years old. The Frontier District will be helping the one at Clinton of which the chapters in Alva and Woodward are a part.
