In a special meeting held Thursday evening at the administrative offices, the Alva Board of Education switched a few assignments and added some new employees. Superintendent Tim Argo said the staff is now complete to begin the school year. Not all the new staff members were present, but their jobs were explained.

Argo thanked Cara Bradt for stepping up and teaching middle school and high school bands for the coming year. She will receive some secretarial-type help in filing and managing music from a former music student. The job is still being advertised as open but Bradt will likely complete...
