It seems like summer just got started, and now the stores, newspaper ads, and radio and TV commercials are all reminding us it’s time to start getting ready for the new school year. It’s amazing how quickly shoes, jeans, shirts and more get worn out or outgrown just over summer break.

Fortunately, all Oklahomans can take advantage of our annual Sales Tax Holiday, which begins as 12:01 a.m. on the first Friday in August and ends at 12 midnight on the following Sunday night. So this year, it will be Aug. 3, 4 and 5.
